CHIROPRACTIC & NATURAL THERAPIES

About Us

Established since the year 2000, we are the longest running clinic in Burton upon Trent. We were renamed Burton Chiropractic in 2016, when Ben and Tamzin Parsons took over management of the clinic. We moved to our brand new premises in Newton Solney, June 2017.

Our Chiropractors have over 20 years experience offering honest advise and appropriate treatment for back, neck and shoulder problems. We also treat joint, posture and muscular issues, sciatica and sports injuries. Burton Clinic is an integrated healthcare organisation dedicated to helping as many people as possible to achieve and maintain their optimum level of health. We have a commitment to standards of excellence and deliver professional, ethical care in an environment where the patient is at the heart of everything we do.

Our Vision:

  • To help people to enjoy better health, to improve quality of life and to help patients achieve their goals.
  • To support our patients by listening, understanding and delivering the best available care.
  • To support each other to consistently improve and achieve excellence.
  • To support our community by integrating with other health care providers and contributing our expertise.

Ben Parsons

Ben Parsons

MChiro DC LRCC

Ben graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2012 with a masters in Chiropractic. He has worked at Burton-on-Trent and Litchfield since. He is a keen sportsman and enjoys watching and playing most sports. He played county level Rugby as a youngster and currently plays Squash for Burton Tennis and Squash club.

As well as being an expert in spinal injury and rehabilitation, Ben has a particular interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of sporting injuries and the shoulder. His unique experience from playing and thoroughly enjoying sport of all types allows him to identify and understand the problem from a sporting perspective. He has subsequently helped his patients achieve sporting excellence by treating their injuries and keeping them fit, to be able to perform at a high level. He is also versed in the use of medical acupuncture and low level laser therapy.

Tamzin Parsons

MChiro DC

Tamzin has been practicing in Staffordshire since graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2012. She first became interested in Chiropractic when she saw how much it helped her parents. They’d shuffle into the office bent over in pain and walk out of the treatment room standing straight and feeling a lot better.

Due to her empathetic and caring nature, Tamzin enjoys working with all patients but with a particular interest in pregnant women and the elderly. Tamzin finds it extremely rewarding being a chiropractor and especially loves how chiropractic finds and treats the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms. She undertook a postgraduate course in medical acupuncture and likes using these new skills in her treatment plans.

Jessica Mousley

Jessica Mousley

MChiro DC.

Jessica graduated from the Welsh institute of Chiropractic in 2024 with a Distinction. She also holds qualifications in acupuncture and dry needling as well as sports massage. In her clinical year of university, she experienced a number of differing patients of all demographics and conditions. She enjoyed working together with her patients to find solutions that worked best for them.

Growing up in Derbyshire, she has always been surrounded by sports, being a prolific ballet dancer in her school years and playing hockey at County and University level. These factors drew her towards chiropractic care, having been a patient at Burton Chiropractic herself.

Reception

I’ll have been working at Burton Chiropractic for 20 years this June. I get to meet many different people with this job and I love to see how chiropractic can make such a positive difference to so many people.

My first introduction to Chiropractic was when my dog had a neck injury and someone suggested a Chiropractor. After a couple of treatments, he was much better, making me think I should give it a try for myself.

Without the use of drugs, I was pleasantly surprised how much better I felt after treatment. I also quickly understood that a bit like your dental checkups, you visit your dentist even though your teeth don’t hurt – the same is to be said for your spine and Chiropractic checkups. They get you back on track and then you go for what I call your MOT visits.
